Garden Maintenance
Professional garden maintenance is our bread and butter. We have extensive experience with all manner of plants, tools, techniques and care routines. We’re fully equipped to take care of your garden.
Anyone can garden, but not everyone is a gardener. It’s a skilled trade and we take pride in our expertise.
Every garden is different, but often a gardener is needed on an ongoing basis. We’ve developed long-term relationships with lots of gardens, and friendships with plenty of garden owners.
That said, sometimes you just need someone to cut the hedge – we’re more than happy to view and quote for any job, however small. We also offer garden clearance for private and commercial landlords or homeowners.
Please note that at certain times of year our maintenance services are in very high demand. It’s worth contacting us well in advance of upcoming seasonal work (spring prep, hedge cutting, autumn tidies etc).

Garden Design
Our garden and planting design services can transform any garden into a personal paradise. Even the most challenging spaces can be reimagined.
The benefits of having a well-designed garden are many, but ultimately it's an investment in your home that will bring you pleasure, beauty and inspiration for many years to come. We recognise that your outdoor space is an extension of your indoor space - your garden should be a harmonious part of your home that is always inviting - and we can cater to many different tastes and budgets.
Our garden design services are well suited to gardens that need a complete re-think. We offer three levels of service that will work for any size of project:
Inspire
The Inspire package has a quick turnaround and allows us to move swiftly onto building your garden. This is well suited to smaller gardens, but also those that have an uncomplicated brief or require less consideration of groundworks, logistics or initial problem-solving.
You’ll receive a digital illustration of the proposed garden. Sometimes clients then use this as an aid to develop their own garden over time.
Agile
Agile is a mid-range design package that aims to offer a quick turnaround, but with a more thorough design process – useful for when a lot of hard landscaping is required. You’ll receive a scale drawing of the garden in physical and digital formats. Essential soft landscaping elements will be included.
Comprehensive
If you have a decent sized garden that you want to completely redevelop, our Comprehensive garden design package is for you. We’ll carefully survey your space and commit to a careful and extensive new design. You’ll receive scale plans of the design, along with a supplementary design rationale that will thoroughly explain each element. A complete planting design is also included. We’re able to design a new garden to fit within a planned total budget, so feel free to mention this with any enquiry.
PLANTING DESIGN
In addition, we offer a standalone planting design service for when soft landscaping is the primary focus. We can add planting for privacy, re-imagine a tired border, plan a shrubbery or woodland garden – whatever your needs, we can help, and we’re offering 10% off planting design throughout 2022.

Planting & Soft Landscaping
Planting is the most essential element of any garden. Hard landscaping is the bare bones – planting is the life and soul.
It’s both an art and a science, with appreciation of colours and forms combining with consideration of site and soil to ensure a long-term, living installation that thrives. We use techniques particular to each plant's needs, meaning you can rest assured knowing the planting has had the very best start.
We can provide a full planting design service (see Garden Design) to help you reimagine your existing beds and borders. We can also source and plant to your request, allowing you to make the most of our relationships with specialist wholesalers and benefit from very competitive pricing on trees, shrubs and perennials.
In addition, we work as contractors for landscape architects and other garden designers, where full plans have already been drawn up. So if you’ve had your hard landscaping installed but are looking for a contractor with more in-depth plant knowledge for the final phase, get in touch. Similarly, if you're looking for planting specialists to refer to your clients, we'd be happy to have a chat.
Gardening Tuition
We’ve encountered all manner of unique situations whilst working as professional gardeners. One that crops up time and again is clients who want to take a more active role in their garden and look to us to provide them with skills and know-how by working side-by-side with them in their gardens.
We now offer this as a standalone service. We’ll visit and discuss what you’d like to achieve or develop a better understanding of, then book in a number of sessions to spend time with you in the garden, sharing insight. This is especially useful if you’re new to gardening and want to know how to take the reins, or if you have a new garden and want to get a better understanding of what’s there and how best to care for it.
Perhaps you want to develop a vegetable garden, learn how to prune an orchard inherited from a previous owner or just get to grips with some maintenance basics. There’s nothing like hands-on experience to help you develop practical skills.

Commercial
We provide horticultural services to a number of commercial clients, including pubs, restaurants and housing associations. We are always interested in working with commercial clients who value the importance of their outdoor space and we can offer a range of services to lead or aid your grounds maintenance.
In addition, we offer a complete design and planting service for businesses in offices, shops, work spaces and other urban premises who want to transform their setting into a lush oasis.
